MEET THE LEADERSHIP
Johnathan Keenan is originally from Hereford, TX. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2001. In 2010, Johnathan graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary (M.DIV.) and moved to Edinburgh, Scotland for some post-graduate studies (Th.M.).
Johnathan is married to Morgan and they have four sons: Branson (7yrs), Cooper (5yrs), Knox (3yrs) and Hank (6 mos).
Dave Blank grew up in Southern California and has worked as a pediatrician in Ventura County since 1996. He attended college and medical school in Tulsa Oklahoma where he met his wife, Becky. They currently reside in Camarillo and have four adult children. Dave grew up in the church and became acquainted with reformed theology through the teachings of RC Sproul and The White Horse Inn. Dave is a ruling elder at Christ’s Church Ventura. He and Becky enjoy the outdoors, hiking and going on runs. Dave also loves to surf with his kids and is a private pilot.
Brad Durant is a native of Southern California. Prior to coming to Christ Church Ventura, he lived in San Diego and served as a deacon in a United Reformed Church. Being raised in a strong Christian home, he experienced the benefits of hearing God’s Word and was brought to faith in Christ at a young age. He completed studies in structural engineering at UC San Diego and is currently employed as an engineer for Naval Facilities Engineering Command. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, watching baseball, and eating pizza with friends and family. Brad and his wife, Rebecca, live in Ventura and recently started a local distance running team.
Ernie Rivas is native Californian, born and raised in Ventura County. He works in the construction industry and is an avid tennis player. Ernie is a long time member of Christ Church Ventura, where he met and married his wife Karen and was ordained as a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church in America. Ernie and Karen live in Oxnard, CA.
David Logan grew up in a Christian home in Northern Virginia, where he attended Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He completed studies in engineering at Duke University and spent some years developing software in Seattle. He now “works” in the video game industry as a Technical Animator. David lives in Camarillo with his wife Mary and their two young daughters.
